The Cleveland Browns have been searching for a quarterback

Delhomme, the former Carolina Panthers quarterback, who many believe has seen his better days, may be just what the Browns jerseys need. Entering his 14th season, Delhomme brings a wealth of experience and leadership to an offense that needs both.

Delhomme is coming off his worst season in the NFL last year with a 59.4 QB rating. He was not brought to Cleveland to be the savior, just lead an offense that has lacked leadership for sometime.

Before last season, the Panthers signed Delhomme to a five-year extension worth $42.5  million. At the end of the season, they released him. The Browns football jerseys are hoping they are getting the Delhomme that Carolina deemed worthy of the big contract just a year ago.

Throughout his career, Delhomme has always been the under dog. He came into the league undrafted in 1997 out of Louisiana-Lafayette College. After spending time on New Orleans practice squad and in NFL Europe, he moved up to third string QB for the Saints. Delhomme is a competitor, that's what he does best. He should fit in well on the Browns.

In Brian Daboll's run oriented offense, the quarterback doesn't have to be Peyton Manning. Delhomme just might be the perfect fit for such an offense. His experience should be extremely valuable to the Browns young receivers as well.

ProFootballWeekly is reporting that  new Cleveland Browns jerseys tight end Evan Moore has a chance to be the Browns second tight end ahead of Alex Smith and Robert Royal. Moore caught 12 passes in five games in 2009.

Although Ben Watson is expected to start at tight end, Moore could really open some eyes at training camp. The Guys at Dawgs By Nature think Moore has an 80% chance to make the Browns roster.

Moore is a better receiving threat than both Royal and Smith, but his blocking is not in the same league. Smith and Royal will likely compete for the Browns blocking and goalline tight end roles.
